It's the little stuff that is big stuff in my world.

Hope has a chore.  It is to cross off the days on the chalkboard calendar.  Being all parent-like, I thought I was doing something great introducing her to chores and how to read days of the week.  Skip all the learning mumbo-jumbo....take a look at how that girl crosses the days off.  She's so cool.
**Sunday the 10th, might just be my favorite.

Who's the big kid in the middle?

It's just what we do.

I turn on the hose to water the flowers and I find my kids standing on the other side of the window...waiting. Then, just when my back is facing them, I do an 180 and fire away, bulls-eye on their face. Every time. E-v-e-r-y time.
It started when Emma was 4, in an attempt to freak her out one day.  But ever since that day (which did freak her out, but followed with "do it again!"), it has become a ritual.  Hope knows no different as it's been happening ever since she could stand on her own.
And every time, I pretend like I don't see them waiting....and every time they shriek, squeal, and laugh like they just wet their pants.  humm, wet their pants? nice one.'s just what we do.  And we love it.

And that's a wrap.

When you ask Hope to fold the laundry... walk into the living room to find this.

Could I seriously love this girl and her funniness anymore? Nope, not one bit.

Summer imaginations!

Emma had Abby over for the day, and the fun never stopped. A broken slip-n-slide (in an almost flat yard), some dish soap, and just add water. Inside some flour, water, salt, baking soda, and just add vinegar. Love these kids and the craziness they have, all the while including an admiring tag-a-long. xoxo
