Perspective.

Now what?  Out of over 900 pictures taken in one week, I have come to the last moments where our team of 15 were able to enjoy some peaceful bliss that Bolivia showcases.  But now what?  Perched on the above rock I was able to reflect of the past week and one word keeps surfacing....

Perspective.
A mission trip isn't a "do good check box" that I think many associate it with.  Going on a mission trip isn't a ticket into Heaven, isn't a thing to do so others back home can give you a pat on the back for, heck...it's not even about saving the poor.  It's about perspective....where we going to fix our eyes?  Is it a blog full of pictures, a journal with memories, or is it a new perspective to wake up to everyday?  Are we looking up or looking down?  And in the end it's the question asked, "what are you going to do about it?"
 Love like I'm not scared
Give when it's not fair
Live life for another
Take time for a brother
Fight for the weak ones
Speak out for freedom
Find faith in the battle
Stand tall but above it all
Fix my eyes on You
