Bag full of hearts.
July 7th, I turned 32. All week prior my daughter had been working hard on the perfect present and on my actually birthday could hardly stand waiting until Dad got home to give it to me. I absolutely love her excitement.
As soon as Adam walked in the door she went bolting for her bag. I opened it and found several foam hearts. They were all the hearts picked out from her craft supplies. As I held the hearts in my hand and let them trickle in bag knowing each one was carefully selected from my 4 year old, Emma explains:
"Mom, I just love you so much that I can't tell you all the time during the day. Now you have the hearts telling you and you can look at them anytime. That's what all the hearts are for, I just love you that much!"
Could there have been a more perfect present?
